A trip into the Carpathian Mountains.

Last weekend I traveled into the Carpathian Mountains with my son-in-law to a village near Verxhovena.
We traveled from Kolomayya through Kosiv, and on to Verxhovena and the village of Krasnyk.  Our return trip was through Voroxta, Jaremcha and back to Kolomayya.

Along the way we crossed over the Bukovetz overpass and then down to Krevorivne and into the Verxovena valley.  Since this was Sunday many people were dressed in traditional dress and either going to or returning from church.
